As of today, my account is fifteen years old. 15. A decade n' five! Over half my life. FIFTEEN.

Fifteen fuckin' goddamn bitch-ass YEARS ago.

And what do I have to show for it?? Not nearly enough.

First off, to everyone who's following me, you deserve an apology. Maybe you expected to see something...anything...from this account in the 5 years since the 20th anniversary collab (which was a wonderful experience, btw). I never even said hi!! And I have a terrible habit of putting things off until "the time is right", which often never comes. But I'm working on it.

So, please accept my long-overdue thanks for taking the time to give me a follow.

And to anyone who happens to see this post in the Artist News sidebar and asks themselves "who's this asshole?", well, sometimes I ask myself the same question.

For as long as I can remember, it's been my goal to be one of those guys who just, puts stuff out there. Good stuff. But BOY is it hard! My 10th anniversary post may have been somewhat bittersweet. Now I'm past being sad, I'm PISSED OFF. (In a good way, don't worry.) Flash is dead for heaven's sake!! If that doesn't get me off my ass, then what will?

I really just want to start contributing to this site again. NG is a truly special place. We're incredibly lucky it's lasted this long and I don't want to keep taking it for granted. And even if I don't have what it takes to be an artist, then I'll contribute in other ways. Get into the habit of making reviews. Get involved in site events. And maybe even share some other Cool Stuff that I have planned... stay tuned... 🍕

I better wrap this up before midnight hits and this fit of passion escapes me. NG's great, you're great (yes, you!), and I'm going to take Ferris Bueller's advice and try to be present & enjoy what we all have here.
