Yeah, Halloween!!! It's really terrible that that storm had to happen and kind of spoil the mood.

To keep up with the 1-submission-per-month update schedule I unwisely decided to follow, and as a sort-of Halloween submission, I posted an old drawing from high school. Check it out!!! If you like.

PS: That song I mentioned last time will probably be my November submission. School is hard! D:

I'm going to try managing a paper-thin upload schedule of 1 submission per month. One way I plan to do this is with this:

Expect another tomorrow, to cover October. Gotta have it covered; it'll be a busy month. Heh.

I never thought my first movie submission would be a Clock Day flash. On the other hand, this was too much fun to pass up.

Interesting story as to how this came to be. Was at a convention with friends a few months back, and on our way to a late night dinner at a Boston Pizza, one of us started talking about (intentionally) horrible cosplay ideas. It led to him scribbling the eponymous star of the above video on a dinner napkin, tired as he was. I then refused not to make a flash about it, especially since I had luckily brought my laptop with me. We all then proceeded to contribute equally absurd ideas that only sleep-deprived excited minds could produce.

Hope you enjoy, and vote 5! I'll be doing the same to pretty much everything today. Spirit of the season. ;)

It's done! Been a while since I posted on the matter. Our team's game, Spectro, just barely made the deadline for Game Jam 7, which was two Sundays ago at midnight. Its core mechanic is "initiate."

It has a lot of problems, both functional and gameplay-based. but I'm happy that it was finished in time, and that it works at all. More than that, the fact that I was able to work with a group of complete strangers to create an idea from scratch and use it to make a presentable product isn't only a great relief, but something I'm proud of, even if the game itself isn't anything remarkable. A big thanks goes out to my team for making it all happen! It was even on the front page for a while, not that I think it deserved it.

I'm yet to check out the other Game Jam submissions; work has been taking a lot of my time, and the time I do have to myself I've tried to spend with family (working non-stop for a weekend made me miss them quite a bit XD). I should play them soon enough. I wonder who the winner is! There didn't seem to be a post about it or anything.

EDIT: Happy Robot Day! Excited to see what goodies will show up today.

I have no idea why, in almost 7 years of being a member on this site, I have never made a news post before. Maybe it's because I haven't had anything newsworthy to say? Well, that changes RIGHT NOW.

I'm an aspiring Flash game developer and have been dabbling in Flash for way too long. I recently made the switch to AS3 due to my current job, and my productivity has since skyrocketed. So maybe I'll actually be able to put something on here this summer!

Speaking of which, I WILL be submitting something, and soon: I signed up for Game Jam 7, which is starting today (it's midnight on Friday, so yes, today :P)!! I'm the programmer of my team, and together with BobyB64, ESTAR48, and KaggyFilms, I'll be making a game in a weekend. It'll be a challenge, for sure, but it should be a great experience. Good luck to all involved!!

Till next time~
